11:26 pm	KGS. Unfair ? Just few days ago I stumbled into an incident with a fellow KGS user, namely Snerk, which resulted in a temporary ban upon my accounts. Shortly, I logged with another machine and spoke the Admin to complain about the problem. Upon discovering that I'm on a ban, that admin promptly ban me again. While I spoke to the admin, I explained what went wrong. Obviously the admin did not care about the problem and instead reccomend me to sent an e-mail to admin@igoweb.org, which I did after. It's to my surprise that WMS responded the e-mail himself. And this is the e-mail It is to my dismay and great dissapointment that I've fell as an innocent victim because of a misunderstanding. I admit that I typed an offensive words in English Game Room at the date this letter is sent. I've made an apologize to rectify the problem and according to Toru [5d] the problem is solved as he says "ok" in our private conversation. It is to my and general knowledge that when an apology is accepted the problem is neutralized or solved. Secondly, If we traced the root of the problem, it is Snerk [12k] that made a rude, offensive, and sarcastic remark the first time upon my seriousness on teaching weaker player. This second problem relates to the the third. While Snerk was truly making an insult upon my seriousness in a private conversation and into the English Game Room, which I'm sure was monitored. I, on the other side was making a wish. It is clear on the chat transcript that I said "I wish that Snerk is.....". Wish is being the keyword here. According to www.dictionary.com, a reliable dictionary site, the definition of wish is : A desire, longing, or strong inclination for a specific thing. An _expression of a desire, longing, or strong inclination; a petition. Something desired or longed for. While the definition of insult is: 1. To treat with gross insensitivity, insolence, or contemptuous rudeness. See Synonyms at offend. 2. To affront or demean: an absurd speech that insulted the intelligence of the audience. 3. To make an attack on. (Note: The underline does not exist in original site, I put the underline to emphasize the meaning of the word) By looking at those definitions, it is clear that: 1. A wish is not an insult. 2. A desire cannot be related to treatment, nor does it to affront, neither does it to attack. By looking at the facts and the circumstances, it is clear that I am innocent, while Snerk's innocence is now in question. It is very unfortunate that the admin/s has not been fair by banning me for having a wish while the person that actually made the insult gets away. The only fair thing to do at the moment is to lift the ban upon my account/s and reinstate the ban upon Snerk instead as he is the one who offended me at the first place. I trust you gentlepeople will find out the real truth. Sincerely, Seguchi AKA CountDooku Although I've deleted the response sent by WMS, I can still remember what his response is. to sum it up, in his response, he wrote: -There's no fairness in KGS -I have insulted another use that leads to the banning. And he also uses my argument as his weapon by bolding the section says "To affront or demean: an absurd speech that insulted the intelligence of the audience". Now. If we looked at the case over again, the point that contributes my guilt was only one, which was bolded by WMS. While the other points were greatly against Snerk. And I also did some research upon how WMS dealt with complaint, I'm sure you, KGS players are familiar with the case of Steve Urick posted on Sensei's Library. From all of those research and my personal experience, I conclude that WMS are: -Uncapable of acting fair -Sacrificing the lower ranked players for the sake of higher ranked people -Depends too much on the Admins for advice while the admins themself are the puppet of WMS Apparently a good programmer is not neccesarily a good Public Relations. 4:47 am	Perhaps... Entering the tournamen was a bad idea... I missed the first round, but passed it by default (I don't know why. WMS and his Kiseido got strange way of work). But the second round was a disaster. My opponent was a 2 Kyu and I was like "Oh shit...." Well, shit happens. I lost by 100+ points. Being me, I didn't take the loss too lightly, so I asked WMS as to who got the brightest idea of pairing a 19 K with a 2 K. His answer was simple. "Computer randomize it...". WTF ?!? RANDOMIZE ?!? On another game, I saw a 9 K vs a 9 D.... Very smart WMS... real smart....
